This September, the Member States of the United Nations will adopt the Global Compact for Migration and Refugees. We want Pope Francis’s 4 words to be included in the compact so that they can influence governments to change policies that enable war, violence, and inequality.
To increase safe and legal routes, and guarantee the right to education in host countries.
To defend dignity and human rights, including the right to education for refugee children and youth.
To encourage the comprehensive human development of refugee children and youth through their right to education.
To support the greater participation of refugee children and youth in their host communities and create a culture of integration and solidarity.
Together with Entreculturas, we accompany more than 14,500 refugee children in Lebanon, Chad, South Sudan, and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
